Maury Christmas

This is a character whom I have painted before. she seems to evolve a bit every time I paint her. I really love Ball Jointed Dolls and so she seems to have turned into one in this latest creation. I have started to sculpt dolls and I have a feeling that Maury will be a variant of one of the sculpts, the Gaia sculpt. I really need to get cooking on the bodies. I have some heads very close to completion. Anyway, she is watercolor and there are various photos and odds and ends that I used to create her background and the gift in the foreground. I had a lot of fun making this so I hope that you enjoy my latest little pin up.

I have a variant of this image that is up on my flicker account. I made this for the Toys for Tots, in an effort to help some other horror and macabre creators raise some good stuff for a worthy cause. I haven't had much christmas spirit this year, but this has helped. I hope that you enjoy both images
